Coxy’s final selections for Music is Revolution

Space Ibiza and Carl Cox have long gone hand in hand. Heading down himself as a reveller for morning sessions, welcoming planes in mere metres above.

Carl commenced his Music Is Revolution residency 15 years ago, in the early 2000s when the Playa Den Bossa club was becoming a real hotspot. Things have changed both inside the venue and around the island since, but Coxy’s passion for music has never swayed for a single second. Neither has his love for Space’s dancefloor, sound system, and clientele.

Space Ibiza will change hands at the end of summer 2016. Therefore, Coxy has decided to discontinue his residency at the club. For the last night of the Final Chapter on September 20, Carl Cox played all night long in the discoteca and everyone inside could feel the immense energy from the offset.

Carl went back to his vinyl spinning days and whacked out classic wax for the opener of his set, delving into bouncy tech house and slamming techno later on. Here are some of his on point selections.

Tori Amos – Professional Widow (Armand Van Helden Remix)

Jeff Mills – The Bells

Slam – Positive Education

Moby – ‘Go’ (Loco Dice Mo Strings Remix)

Final Chapter: Last five tracks

Jack Master – Bang The Box (Slam Remix)

Deetron – Photon

Joe Smooth – Promised Land

Ce Ce Rogers – Someday

The Doors – The End
